To the Crockett Community:
American Veterans Traveling Tribute (AVTT) had the opportunity to bring our Cost of Freedom Tribute to Crockett, TX from May 30 – June 3 of this year.
Crockett proved to be a community filled with patriots and those that truly understand what it means to honor, respect, and remember our American heroes. We at AVTT want to extend our appreciation to the community for hosting us and for participating in the weekend’s events.
A big thank you to everyone involved with this event! Special thanks to Fred Newtz and the entire Crockett AVTT Event Planning Committee. A huge thank you to the escort participants, the setup crew who did such a terrific job in the rain on Thursday, the teardown crew who toughed it out in the heat of the day on Sunday, the daily locator computer and security volunteers and countless others…thank you! There were so many people that made this event possible!
Thank you for welcoming us into your community and thank you for taking the time to honor our active duty, veteran, and fallen heroes.
We very much look forward to coming back to Crockett in the future.
Respectfully,
Leah DeLuzio
